Technical service · Maintenance · Winter storage · Season preparation
Maintenance, winter storage, season preparation, checks and photo reporting: Nexus Marine follows your boat over time, whether you are on board, in Canet or on the other side of the world.
A boat is not judged only on delivery day. It is judged on its second season, its fifth, the Saturday morning a charter crew boards, or the moment a buyer opens the maintenance log. That is where Nexus Marine steps in: maintain, check, secure — and keep you informed with facts: hours spent, photos, points checked.
Technical service is for owners on a family or long-distance cruising programme, boats operated in charter, boats based in Canet-en-Roussillon and neighbouring harbours, and boats followed remotely by an owner who is not on site. Monohulls and multihulls, sail and power: the standard is the same as on our refits.
Engines, generator, watermaker, energy, rigging, deck hardware, electronics: scheduled checks and necessary interventions, carried out by our team or by the specialists of the marine hub that we manage.
Technical winterisation, active monthly monitoring with photo report, recommissioning in spring. The winter package details the fourteen points checked every month.
Haul-out, antifouling, anodes, systems checks, sea trial, cleaning and handover: the boat is ready the day you arrive, or the day the first crew boards.
Monthly checks, dated photos, hours detailed by task through our yard-tracking tool. You know what was done, when and by whom — without having to travel.
What we take care of
No imposed package: the follow-up plan is quoted according to the boat, its programme and the period. Base rates are published in the 2026 rate card — €75/h excl. VAT for every trade.
A project manager who knows the boat. The same contact follows your boat from one season to the next, often since its refit or delivery. Technical decisions are made by a team with a design-office background, not by a switchboard.
Every trade within reach. At the Canet-en-Roussillon marine hub, sailmaking, rigging, composites, mechanics, electrics, upholstery and paint are a few metres from the boat, with 50 T and 200 T travel lifts. An intervention never depends on someone travelling.
Facts, not impressions. Every visit leaves a record: hours, photos, points checked. That documented maintenance log shows up in the boat's value on resale day.
Is your boat in charter, on a family programme or laid up for several months? Tell us about the boat, the programme and the period: we build the follow-up plan and send you a priced proposal.
Technical service is also the gateway to refit: a project manager who has followed the boat for months knows exactly where to look before opening anything. New energy, new interior, new programme: the Nexus refit takes over, under the same point of contact.
