We have made the deliberate choice not to deploy any audience measurement cookies, advertising cookies or non-essential third-party trackers on nexusmarine.fr. This position reflects our respect for our visitors' privacy and our strict compliance with the recommendations of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) and the ePrivacy Directive (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act).
The website only uses cookies or devices strictly necessary for its technical operation and your security. Such trackers are exempt from prior consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines.
Strictly necessary cookies: security of navigation (TLS/HTTPS), bot detection, load balancing by our hosting provider Netlify. Duration: session.
Language preference: may be stored locally (localStorage) to display the correct language version on your next visit. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to any third-party server.
Nexus Marine uses only one third-party audience-measurement service: Metricool (Metricool Software S.L., Spain — European Union). No other advertising or analytics solution is installed: no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta Pixel (Facebook), no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
Purpose: measure the number of visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and the site's overall performance.
Legal basis: explicit consent (GDPR art. 6-1-a) — opt-in banner displayed on the site.
Hosting: Spain (European Union) — no transfer outside the EU.
Cookies set: a technical cookie be_pageview and a session identifier (duration: 13 months).
Opt-out: you can refuse the tracker at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of the page, or remove the nm-cookie-consent value from your localStorage to display the banner again.

If we were to deploy non-essential cookies in the future (for example a privacy-friendly audience analytics tool), we would implement a consent banner compliant with CNIL guidelines — with an "Accept" button and a "Reject" button presented at the same visual level, with no pre-checked boxes, and permanent access to your preferences. No non-essential tracker would be deposited before your explicit consent.
